Tan Yakiniku

Tan isone of the most authentic Yakiniku (Japanese beef BBQ) places in town. Recently for the first time, Buffet plan has been added in to their Ekamai Parklane Branch. The price is pinned at 499B+.

I am a big fan of Tan Yakiniku myself, I didn't hestitate to try out. What I had at Tan for buffet dinner was beyond expectation. I must say this is one of the finest Yakiniku Buffet in town.

Wagyu Karubi.

Wagyu Rosu.

Wagyu Katabara

The beef quality was more than satisfying overall. Seriouly 499B+ is even cheap for this grade of beef. They also have 5% discount by citibank credit card payment. We paid 507B nett for each person. By all means, this is a must for beef lover.

Uomasa @Sukhumvit39

One of my favourite place for Japanese Lunch set, Uomasa.

四色まぐろ丼 - Yoshoku Maguro don. (4 kinds of Tuna rice bowl.)

4kinds of Tuna = 1. Sashimi (Raw fish sliced) 2. Seared 3. Marinated in soy sauce 4.Minced and seasoned with Korean sweet&sour sauce.

Complimentary Hot Soba in Lunch Set.

My brother's 4 kinds salmon on rice.

Mostly the same with my Tuna rice bowl. Only that this is salmon. Mine was Tuna.

The Ramen place next to this Japanese Restaurant is also managed by the same owner. We can order noodles from the Ramen shop next door called 'Menya Kouji' to dine in Uomasa as well.

Al dente chewy noodles. (a bit less chewy than Fujiyama55's IMHO)

Thick concentrated soup.
Less concentrated than Fujiyama55's. I would say Menya Kouji's soup is at the right thivkness tha anyone can enjoy.

A satisfying lunch set over all. Price range is 250-300B which is totally reasonable. A good choice for Japanese lunch set in Sukhumvit area.

Le Beaulieu

Le Beaulieu can be literally translated 'a beautiful place'. Anyhow, I would like to add 'a beautiful meal' to this fine dining French restaurant. After my first trying out I have no doubt why Le Beaulieu is said to be one of the best French restaurant in Bangkok.

Complimentary croissants.

Burrata D.O.C, Heirloom Tomatoes, Citrus Vinaigrette

Rich and creammy. Very enjoyable.

Alaskan Crab Risotto, Saffron Sauce Perfect al dente. Shell fishes sure add fantastic smell to the dish.

Terrine of Foie Gras Soulard, Apple Chutney Packed with flavor. Good texture with chucky pieces of Foie gras. One of the best I ever had so far.

John Dory, Green Puree, Warm Vinaigrette

Dover Sole, Meuniere SauceNever had a Dover Sole this good. Flesh was firm and sweet.

Scottish Salmon Fillet, Lentils Stew, Bearnaise SauceCreatively arranged with separately seared skin.

Duck Leg Confit, Roasted Potatoes

Angus Tenderloin, Shallots Red Wine Reduction A very satisfying juicy piece of meat.

Perfect meduim rare as ordered.

Australian Lamb Rack, Garden Beans The most impressive dish of all entire meal. Neatly sous vided. Very juicy and tender.
I even wanna revisit this place just for this Rack of Lamb.

Millefeuille, Tahitian Vanilla Ice Cream

Hazelnat Soufflé, Raspberry SorbetFull flavor with perfect texuture. Another the star of our meal.

 Apricot Tart, Vanilla Ice Cream

The offer is pinned as below. 3 Courses @ 1,250++ / 4 Courses @ 1,750++
This worths every penny you pay. Portion was generous. The cooking was neatly performed. Le Bealieu is arguably one of the best French cuisine town.
