Serina 瀬里奈

Frankly speaking, I am not a big fan of Teppanyaki. Charcoal broiled steak firmly remains as my all time favourite way to enjoy a nice piece of beef. Anyhow, When it comes to festive season, Ex: the last time we found ourselves at Serina, it was the 2011 New Year's Eve, Teppanyaki cooking show can surely brighten up our meal.

Serina offers full courses of Teppanyaki, including Salad, Sashimi, Soup, Main, Veggie, Garlic Fried Rice and Dessert. All of components in the course were finely cooked with decent ingredients. Especially the soupm it was DELECTABLE. The clear soup made from premium grade dried bonito was indeed aromatic and full-flavored.

We both had 150g. Kobe Beef full course as main. And additionally ordered pan grilled Japanese Oyster. Kobe beef steak was nicely cooked on hot pan with skilled chef right before our eyes. The doneness was perfect meduim-rare.

Japanese Oysters were lightly coated with starch before being seared til crisp and became gloden brown on both side then they are steamed in a metal flat bottom pot with Shoyu-Butter based sauce.

Kobe Beef Steak course 1,950B++

Japanese Oyster 400B++
The dessert, Lemon Tea sorbet was a perfect finale. Both flavor of tea and lemon were well balanced. As I said above, Everythings was cooked perfectly all the entire meal. It was a pleasant dining exprerience and we would like to go back again.
