Thanks to Trip Advisor the rumor of one of the newest Western Food joints in Bangkok, Chef Bar spreaded out quickly. Last wekend my friends and I decided to give Chef Bar a visit and our trip to Chef Bar was proven worthy.
Steak, Burger, Salad and Pie. Easy treats can be found on menu, what bugged me most would be the seasonal menu in the A4 paper attached to the Kitchen Counter. There was even a dish made from Kangaoo meat with Thai style garlic chillies sauce We didn't hestitate to try out this playful dish from the chef.
Wagyu Buger, Thick and juicy piece of beef patty. The fries were surpriingly nice, this is the authentic Belgium Frites, I must say.
Marinated Kangaroo couldn't be any more tender than this. Nicely marinated, finely cooked. Seasoned with Thai infused garlic and chillies sauce, this was definitely the star of our meal.
I found Steak and Smoked Kidney Pie wasn't as smoky as I expected. Anyway, this was satisfying.
The last savory of the meal, Smoke Salmon on Lebanese Pita with Salmon caviar. I enjoyed this a lot. The ingredients were in fine quality.
We had a dessert to share. White chocolate Tart with pickle grave and ice cream.
I could feel the passion for food from every menu. No wonder Chef Bar climbed to the top rank of Bangkok restaurants in no time.
